I've decided today, all things considered, I will be especially thankful for a sense of humor.  Here are a  few of my favorites...

New Etsy Shop Listings

I've been making a few things and listing a few things on my Babylon Sisters Etsy shop.

I found this beautiful embroidered panel at a thrift store a long time ago  I decided to make a cushion cover so I backed it with some vintage Irish linen and added the pom-poms.  Just because I love pom-poms!

I made these simple curtains from a vintage sari (saree?).  I love the colors.

I listed this 70's stoneware tea set.  Perfect for relaxing with some herbal tea...

I haven't listed this yet.  It's a great older black velvet cushion cover with the Four Musketeers.  I don't really know the story but I thought there were only three.  I guess it's like that fifth Beatle thing.

Not sure what I'll do with it yet but I'm thinking pom-poms...

Favorite Thrifted Items

When we moved I got rid of tons of stuff.  Some of my favorite thrift store finds I just couldn't part with though...

An beautiful old flue cover.

A statue of St Clare of Assisi, Patron Saint of Television, dated 1958.

A fun England cutting board.

A plaster hand from the Portobello market in London.  I somehow tend to find really heavy things to bring home in my suitcase...

Two glove molds and a pottery plate.

thriftfully yours,
xoxoMary

Meatless Monday - Sunday Roast Dinner Leftovers

My husband is from England so the Sunday Roast Dinner is something we do a lot.  I always make enough for leftovers on Monday - easy peasy!

My husband would have meat if we were in England but at our house it's vegetarian substitutes.  We really like Gardein patties and the gravy that comes with them is the best!

I can finally make Yorkshire puddings at least somewhat as good as Mummy...

Using this mix!

Roast the veggies and bake the potatoes and there you go!

Cheers!
